Audio Network Cinematic Album - Some Ideas & Inspirations

This page gathers some of my tracks along with audio snippets from various sources, showing some of the audio I like and my inspirations. This might help as a starting point for us to brainstorm and shape the concept of an album together.

Cinematic and Factual Tracks: Some of my tracks in the cinematic style that I shared with Andrea and Anthony.

Two new tracks I recently produced that blend cinematic synths with organic instruments such as strings, woodwinds, and piano.

These tracks lean more toward the emotional and majestic side. While they may not be a perfect fit for this brief, I still like this type of instrumentation and think it can add value.

In general, I believe incorporating a B section and a big build-up in a track works better. This approach allows the track to serve multiple purposes, as the simpler aspects can always be used through underscore or stripped-down versions.

Some references and ideas

Here are a few audio references. I’ve divided them into general playlists, each one evoking one of the elements I like to include in a cinematic project: simple and beautiful underscores that set the general vibe, ambiences and really organic textures, tracks with creative synth sound design, and guitar pulses and textures featuring acoustic and electric guitar patterns. Those elements can be combined or developed further depending on the track. Most of the examples are from library music, and I’ve also incorporated some commercial music tracks sparingly.
